Going to Normandy next week, and I am thinking that Honfleur area will be packed with UK families from the Easter holidays (in fact, I am having trouble booking a hotel there at this late date).
So I was thinking of going east instead, toward Etretat or even South, down the Seine a little. Is the countryside lovely? Or should I stay on the coast? We have managed to book two nights in Rouen, but would like to see some countryside.
Recommendations? Thank you!

The coast east of Le Havre Cote Albatre is very attractive. Some years ago, I visited Fecamp, a small fishing port that is less touristy than Honfleur and is the Abbey were Benedictine is made.
