Which is better hotel location for quiet sleep yet close to restaurants? Hotel Saint Beuve (south of Luxembourg Gradens) or Hotel Saint Vincent at 5 Rue du Pres aux Clercs (north of St. Germain Blvd.)?

I like Hotel Sainte Beuve very much, but as a tourist, I would prefer Hotel Saint Vincent location, that is more central to be able to walk everywhere.

It%26#39;s really difficult to find a place that is far from restaurants in Paris, so put that item way down the list of your criteria.
When you travel, always carry some ear plugs. You never know when a new puppy howling or some other unexpected factor will jazz up a normally quiet neighbourhood.
Personally, I don%26#39;t think there is any Paris location from which you can walk %26quot;everywhere%26quot;, the tourist sights are just a little too spread out, but only lyon%26#39;s suggestions will certainly make many locations accessible on foot, and there are good bus and Metro access points for the rest.
