I have booked a suprise trip to Paris for my boyfriends birthday next weekend. I initially tried to work to a budget but have spent over £500 so far and we are not even there yet!!! I would love to go to the Moulin Rouge but its sooooo expensive. Does anyone have any advice on getting a better deal? Is it worth going to just the show rather than the meal? The hotel I have booked is in Montmatre to it seems silly not to go.
Also can anyone advise on the best use of our time, (3 days). We love to eat out and enjoy wondering around but I would love to see as many of the sites as possible.
We arrive at 9am and can%26#39;t check into the hotel until 2pm so some advice on what we can do while dragging a suitcase would also be helpful.
Thanks all.

Hi --
First re luggage - drop it off at your hotel. They%26#39;ll store it for you until check-in time or whenever you get back.
Do not book the meal at Moulin Rouge. It%26#39;s expensive and unimaginative (as in dull). If you really want to see the show, you should go. It%26#39;s not cheap, and it will certainly be there for a while longer, so you could just put it off until your next Paris trip.
OR, you can go to this web site and see if it%26#39;s any help.

If you Google %26quot;Cheap Moulin Rouge tickets%26quot;, a number of web sites come up - perhaps one of the other sites would be better.
