My wife is going with 4 girlfriends to Nice for 3 nights Mon-Wed. Ages of the party range from 25-50. Can anyone recommend restaurants, bars and nightspots with good atmosphere for her group?

You don%26#39;t say when they are travelling but really anywhere in the Old Town is going to be lively because there are so many restaurants and bars in such a small area. Rue de France is close by and also has a plethora of restaurants and bars.
If they like jazz then Shapko would be a good place to visit in the Old Town. I%26#39;m past my nightclubbing days so can%26#39;t recommend anything like that but I%26#39;m sure others can.
To be honest with you, just being in Nice is a %26quot;girls%26#39; night out%26quot; 24/7.

when are are they coming to Nice?
what budget and types of cuisine?
how lively are they?

They are coming on Monday, 27th April for 3 nights.
Ages - 24,35,41,45,50. Likely to prefer French/Italian/Mediterranean cuisine, as we have lots of Indian/Chinese places at home.
Budget - well, middle to high-end. One of the group is quite a foodie, so would be nice for them to have at least one special restaurant. We%26#39;ve been as a couple before a few times, and have eaten round the Flower Market, but we haven%26#39;t ever gone round bars %26amp; nightclubs.

Start with a wine bar for aperitifs at the Bar Cave Wilson on rue Gubernatis, where the owner speaks impeccable English, he%26#39;s a real gentleman, and the wine is excellent value for money.
Then, a very recently opened restaurant, Flaveur, on the same street. Excellent quality food for reasonable prices.
Then, a couple of streets away, the Bodeghita, a bar/night club that plays latin american music. Live band at 11pm, great cocktails, plenty of people dancing salsa.

Forgot to say, don%26#39;t plan the night out for Monday as many places may be closed. Tuesday or Wednesday would be better. There will be places open on a Monday, but less choice.
