Am booking with KeyCamps for this summer and wonder what does any one know of Camping les Deux Fontaines - Raguenes, and La Pointe St Gilles - Benedot?
I have 4yr old %26amp; 8 yr old and a husband who doesn%26#39;t want a park that%26#39;s too busy.
I%26#39;d like to walk to the beach and harbour etc so favour La Pointe St Gilles but will it be too much for my husband - Or is les Deux Fontaines better for the kids to play without gettting lost in a busy park? But if the weather is bad are there enough activities?
Can someone guide me please.

I would email the sites direct and tell them of your fears, you can ask for their help in putting you in the best possible mobile/tent etc even if you book with a company. The site people know where the rental pitches are and will advise you. I am currently doing the same and have had several emails until I think I have the pitch I want. Apart from that, I cant think what to do?

Hello, my husband and I took our 3 children to Les Deux Fontaines 5 years ago.our children were aged 3,4 and 7 at the time and we had a fantastic time. The caravan was one of four in our @space@ right next to a lovely little park where it was very safe for the kids to play. We had communal barbecues, went to the pool every day and the kids made loads of friends. The park became quiet after about 8 pm, when parents tended to sit outdoors and have a quiet drink. My husband is usually not very outgoing but even he joined in.The beach is a short car journey away.As I say, this was 5 years ago so things may have changed. My husband and I also stayed at La Pointe St Gilles but this was ages ago. Again, the camp was very clean, close to the beach but a steep climb, evening entertainment was good too.Personally of the two I preferred Les Deux Fontaines, but my favourite was one called Camping Les Sables D%26#39;Olong down in Vendee. The site is on its own sandy beach and there are tons of things to do outside of the camp. It is a long drive to Vendee but not so bad if you sail to Roscoff. We could see the sea from our caravan window, the pool was great and not busy. However, bear in mind we always holiday end May/beg of June.If you do decide to go to Vendee, please let me know and I can tell you about 2 absolutely must see places to visit.Anothe good campsite is Le Mane Guernehe in Brittany, have a look at the brochures for camping life, they are much cheaper than Keycamp and have the same sites. The one in Les Sables isnt in either of those brochures, cant remember what its called but will find out for you if you want
