Intend to fly into CDG, arriving at Terminal 1 and then catch TGV to go onto Tours.
- How awkward is it to do this and how much time do I need to allow for this?
- Also do TGV tickets need to be booked online beforehand?
-Does anyone know are there any impending strikes planned for airport or TGV in early June 09?
All advice appreciated.

I haven%26#39;t used the system, so I can%26#39;t tell you about time, but you can take CDGVAL (the intra-airport train) from terminal one to %26#39;Terminal 2 Gare%26#39; which is where the TGV station is. It shouldn%26#39;t be very awkward. TGV tickets do not NEED to be booked online before, but it is advisable because there is typically only one train a day from CDG to Tours (St. Pierre des Corps) and it may be full. Also keep in mind that all TGV trains require reservations. While you can get them same day, I would advise getting them ahead of time.
