I have 2 14 year olds and a 10 year old, all french speaking.Who obviously want to go to Euro-Disney . Is the train journey safe enough for all concerned?
If not how can one adult spend time in that area without going to Euro-Disney.

Which answer do you want?...the one that gets you to DLP?...or the one that allows you to %26#39;skip it%26#39; and remain in Paris.
In the first instance...the RER %26#39;A-4%26#39; ligne train (any %26#39;A%26#39; train, heading in the direction of Marne La Vallée-Chessy-DLP...any train with a four-letter, %26#39;..Qxxx..%26#39; designation) will be perfectly safe for both children and adults.
In the second instance, the %26#39;A%26#39; train ride passes through dangerous %26#39;country%26#39; (see Paris map notes: %26#39;..Beyond the Périphérique There Be Dragons..%26#39;) inhabited by mythically wild beasts and demons that snatch small children from trains, sauté %26#39;em in a delicate red wine reduction sauce and serve %26#39;em for dinner with assorted steamed vegetables and an insouciant burgundy.

Just go and enjoy. What a pleasure to be able to take your children to Disney. My son loved it and I enjoyed every minute with him. Here is a place where they can totally enjoy themselves.if you work it alright you can get the 2 parks done in one day if you organise the day well. Maybe next year when the hormones kick in they wont want to speak to you so make the most of it. How about a good book, sudoku and crosswords while you wait for them coming off the rides exhilirated.
As far as the train journey is concerned we felt very safe. There is a big shopping area a few stops before disney if you wanted to shop after you dropped them off.

Whoa --
I don%26#39;t care how testy you are, it%26#39;s not necessary to respond to what is clearly a joke by being a jerk.

Kuujjuag,, do you mean would it be safe for the children to take the train by themselves to Disneyland . Well, I would not feel comofortable with that, but, what you could do, is very easy, take the train with them , but you get off one stop before Disneyland, at Val De Europe( I think I spelt that wrong) there is a big shopping mall there that everyone seems to like ( I do not like shopping).
The kids could then continue on, and it is only one more stop to Disney, and that is the last stop , so they can%26#39;t get lost. They could then enjoy the park.
You would now have to meet up with them on the way home. You could likely just grab a bus to shuttle to Disney and meet them at a set time.
Another option is to go with them to Disney, but not enter park , instead there is an area with shops(mostly selling overpriced Disney stuff as I recall) and some restuarants , you could hang out in that area for a few hours, it would likely get boring though.
Disney is not so bad,, even if you never go on a ride,, if it is a nice day ,, well, its it very clean and pretty inside.
I know some people have no problem with kids on their own, and honestly I am sure the 14 yr old will be fine, but the 10 yr old will be left on their own sometimes as rides take two at a time, not three, I guess you could always tell them one of the big kids has to always go with the young one.
I come from a small city, I think once inside Disny they are pretty safe, but I would worry when they are alone on the train( it is about 45 minutes, and there are alot of locals getting off and on train, many stops) , I would think it would be best if you could accompany them there and back at least. .
