The only thing I might say is that, on day four, if you do more than just walk by, it%26#39;s a lot of museums. You might pick one of them...or one plus the Rodin gardens...and stick with that. Otherwise you run the risk of Museum Burn Out, which is a disease some people succumb to in Paris. They remember none of what they saw, just that they saw it all.

Thanks for your input, that%26#39;s what I was thinking.
It%26#39;s a short trip to France. My husband wants to see WWI and WWII things, but we also want to fit in most of the main sights.
Seeing artwork is not really a popular pasttime with us.

If your husband is interested in WWII history, he might enjoy the Memorial de Marechal Leclerc in Montparnasse. The best WWII museum (IMHO) in Paris. Not well known/no crowds. For info, see this:

The garden at the Rodin is nice to visit and only costs one euro. Less %26quot;heavy%26quot; than actually going inside the museum.
It would be nice just to stop by and rest on you wanderings. Maybe eat a baguette and a bottle of water.
There are interesting sculptures and the gardens are beautiful.
Denise.
Love from England.

Consider taking the Hop-On Hop-Off bus the first day. You can get on and off at your leisure.

Something you might not be aware of... keep your eyes peeled for plaques on the walls of buildings... they are often there to commemorate a resistance fighter who died at that spot during the liberation of Paris. The name and date will be on the plaque.
You will also see plaques on the walls of some schools with the number of students who were sent to concentration camps with the connivance of the Vichy regime.
Sad reminders... lest we forget...
