Paris to Nice

I%26#39;m flying into Paris from Charlotte in May - landing at 6:40 AM (hopefully on time) at CDG. I need to be in Nice that same day. There is a flight out of Paris on EasyJet from CDG at 8:20 AM but I assume I won%26#39;t be able to make that one - (deplaning- customs - luggage, etc) The next EasyJet flight leaves from Orly at 11 AM - Is anyone familiar with the logistics of landing - getting through customs, getting luggage, and finding a shuttle to Orly to catch another flight? Is Orly a large airport with several terminals? Thanks!

You should be able to easily make an 11am Orly departure.

I recommend you take the Air France Bus (line 3) to Orly. If you are on USAir I believe they use Terminal 1. The bus leaves from the arrival level near door 34. There is a departure every 30 minutes (starting on the hour) from in front of each terminal, the trip usually takes about one hour. You can buy a ticket from the driver, fare is 19€.

Orly is much easier to depart from than is CDG but there are two terminals, connected by a train. I believe that EasyJet departs from Orly Sud but you should confirm.
