Picasso Museum

I%26#39;ll be visiting Paris in April. I would like to know whether the Picasso Museum in Marais is opened. I had heard it was being refurbished.

I shall be interested to see what state the museum is in when I%26#39;m in Paris in April. You would think that there would be some clear information, even if only in French, on www.musee-picasso.fr, but sadly there isn%26#39;t. I%26#39;ve even seen a report that it%26#39;s open and will close in June 2009! Perahps someone in Paris can go and have a look? It seems that we can%26#39;t rely on websites for this info.

I was there in August of 2008 and it was open.

Well, I%26#39;m here in Paris, and the Picasso Museum IS open. Despite building works on one wing and a curious aluminium wall built at right-angles to the front and back of the building (an artwork by Daniel Buren), the museum staff say that there is a normal display of the permanent collection.

I was in Paris 2 weeks ago and it was open. There was some scaffolding outside (as there is on almost every building), but it was open.
