Is Feel Paris a trustworhy company?

Hi, me and my france just booked our flights to Paris and are looking to rent an apartment through Feel Paris. Has anyone dealt with them before. Are the apartments as nice as they look on the pictures? Have you encounter any problem with Feel Paris?

Thanks for your comments.

We%26#39;ve just come back from a four-day stay in the Montmartre Charme apartment, and it was absolute heaven! :D

The whole process was quite unnerving, though, as we had to deal with several people, and it all felt very shady... First, Feel Paris wanted a deposit of ~100 euros by credit card, but we had to either email them the details (!!) or call on the phone.

Next, the owner of the apartment contacted us by email, and wanted a further deposit. This time, it was payable via a secure-pay--type website, which was a bit more reassuring. Still, a French site which I%26#39;d never heard off... Still, if it had gone wrong at this point, I suppose I could have claimed it back from the CC company...

Next, the owner suggested that the security deposit could in pounds, saving us the fees of changing it into euros and back again. However, it would have to be cash.

Finally, the balance of the rental fees was to be in euros, in cash, to be delivered to a property agent who would have our keys. I had nightmare visions of turning up in a dodgy alley in Montmartre, pockets bulging with notes, only to be bopped on the head and left for dead :D

Luckily, that didn%26#39;t happen! All went smoothly, and the apartment was everything it promised to be!

Despite the slightly-dodgy process, I would definitely recommend them, and plan on using them again.

Suggest that you search for reviews on this site and slowtrav.

I looked at them but got put off because someone posted they were gazumped on an apartment they%26#39;d booked through that agency. That happened to us - through another agency - and it was such a hassle getting back our deposit and having to argue with them for the refund of the bank charges we%26#39;d paid.

There are a number of agencies that get consistently good reviews. I%26#39;ve used parisaddress and will be using them again on the first leg of my 2009 trip (Paris and Italy with my Mum) and I%26#39;ve booked through perfectlyparis for the last leg of my 2009 trip (4 nights in the City of Lights because Andrew %26amp; I just can%26#39;t go to Europe and not revisit Paris).

Other agencies that get big ticks from TA posters include parisbestlodge, centreparis, and vacationinparis.

Good luck.

Hi Mylee,

Did you book through Feel Paris? I have booked with them and I am wondering if they are a good company to go with. I didn%26#39;t see all the reviews before I booked with them.
