Just an FYI for fellow travelers considering booking centreparis.
I was trying to book an apartment through them. Initially was emailing this guy named David which seemed alright helpful.
I got to the point where they needed my personal info for reservation. So I asked them for a final price in an email as a record before sending them my confirm email for my booking.
I reply two days later with my confirm, and they tell me that the room was no longer available. They offered another room which was 20 euros a night more. I asked if there was another room with wifi that was closer to my original rate, and they said no flat.
At this point, I was massively disappointed, since I told them I was ready to book (I thought they would at least temporarily hold it for me); but even more so the lack of alternatives offered. Also, it was weird dealing with multiple people replying to my emails.
Please note, I%26#39;m not faulting them in anyway, since they need nothing wrong..but there were things they could have done better. I%26#39;m just presenting the facts as I experienced them.
In contrast, I was booking a room with the Caring Hotel for my London stop. They were eager to offer alternatives when what I asked for was not available, and where quick to automatically provisionally reserve the room for me when I told them I prefer to give them my credit card info for the booking over the phone the next day.
I read a lot of good things about the centreparis apartments, and if they really live up those reviews, they sound like a great bargin....too bad I didn%26#39;t get a chance to see for myself.
Moral of the story..... book faster! :P
good luck
