I have finally decided to cash in my frequent flier miles and see France. I can fly into and out of Charles DeGaule airport. I%26#39;d like to see as much of Paris and the French countryside as possible in the capable hands of a tour guide or perhaps several tour guides if it works out that I need more than one.
I am fairly independent 70 year old female and will be traveling by myself. Love walking in cities, both large and small, museums, sidewalk cafes, touring castles, boat rides - almost everything.
Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Trip planned about May 16 till June 7, but dates are open to change.
Thanks,

Congratulations on your decision. This will be a worthwhile and memorable experience.
Assuming cost is not a terribly limiting factor, here are several suggestions for Paris:
