Aix and Lille accommodation

Which is better choice of accommodation in Aix en Provence and Lille- in terms of safety (not located in the dark or back lane/street) so it is brightly litted up even at night and comfort

We also prefer French style not those modern décor

Aix en provence

- Hotel du Globe or

- Hotel le Manoir

Lille

-Hotel la Paix or

- Hotel Alize Opera - Lille Centre

A curious pair of cities to be linked as they are nearly 500 miles apart.Don%26#39;t know the hotels you mentioned in Aix but Hotel Christophe meets your specification.
