hi people , me and my wife we are planning a train euro trip , we are stuck in bordeaux(as thinking how to go further) , we are thinking if we take the train to san sebastian and then from there spend a night , then the next day head to madrid , can this be done?
please advis what is the best route from bordeaux to spain please?
can anyone tell me how please?

You can take the train. San Sebastian is just over the border of Spain. Then to Madrid is about 3.5 hours

I would advise against booking through RailEurope: it charges a substantial fee on top of the ticket price and does not list all trains.
The French railways site is www.voyages-sncf.com but stick with French: it you switch to English you get kicked to another site which again does not list all the trains.

ca i get more info , like how long is it from bordeaux to san sebastian by train , how much is the ticket,what would be the best route (meaning from which station to which station),if the time from paris to bordeaux by train is 4 hrs is it worth it to spend the night in bordeaux or continue to san sebastian and spend the night there? thanks a lot for your help
