I%26#39;ve found a suitable apartment on Beau-Paris Rentals site, I%26#39;m just wondering if anyone can recommend them before I go ahead and book. I%26#39;ve pretty well checked all the major sites but I found the prices pretty reasonable on this one, plus you can find out the price in canadian or american right off. Also they have rentals by the night, which is what we want as we will be in Paris in september 5 nights.

Bumping this up for my own interest. Has anyone ever rented an apartment through Beau-Paris?

Check the Slow Travel website under Paris rentals (drop down menu at the top). I%26#39;ve been studying rentals and reading reviews for hours a day. I haven%26#39;t stayed in one of them myself, but have read every review on Slow Travel as well as the reviews from guests on the Beau Paris site. The Beau Paris source of rentals seems the best to me.
The only other site my partner and I are considering is Perfect Places. It has reasonable rates and good reviews also.

I too have read reviews and looked at photos until my eyes glaze over for an October week in Paris. My major concern is %26quot;the economy%26quot; and I really don%26#39;t want to make arrangements other than with a credit card, as I have with my two previous rentals. At least I%26#39;d have some recourse in case of disaster. For instance, rumors are flying that people here in California are moving in with relatives, renting out their house and not paying the mortgage! Answering the door to the federal marshalls is not my idea of a good time in Paris. Any thoughts on this amongst you savvy travellers?

Just for the heck of it I went to their site and looked at an apartment. JSN I was able to see the pictures fine. Just scroll down to where it says more images, you see one large picture and many thumbnails. Click once on a thumbnail and it becomes the larger picture. If anyone does use one of their apartments, please let us know how it went here: tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187147-i14-k26308…

You might want to check this thread on one of the Beau-Paris apartments:

OMG, this is TOO embarrassing. I was double-clicking on each thumbnail! Good thing I have a staff at work to take care of me. Thanks so much.

PATestore, your link didn%26#39;t seem to work. I%26#39;m assuming you were referring to the %26quot;Dauphine%26quot; and the issues with Giancarlo. Here%26#39;s another link - hopefully it works:
tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g187147-i14-k21258…
So my inclination would be to avoid that apartment in particular - and perhaps any others owned by Giancarlo. But have a look at that thread to make your own determination.

pmmc! Yes it%26#39;s the Dauphine apt. with the bedbugs. (can%26#39;t figure why my link didn%26#39;t work.
Anyway, the folks at Beau-Paris did nothing to correct the situation or persuade Giancarlo to fix both the infestation and assuage the customers bitten. They share the guilt.
