Is MIJE hosle a place for me to say ?

Hi

I was reading this forum extensively in last few weeks to plan my first trip to Paris not to mention Europe . But tragically my bf of 2 years break up with me now , 2 weeks before our trip. I don’t want to cancel my trip and would like to go on with the plan specially to heal from the break up. However I don’t want to be alone in the most romantic city in the world . Today I decided to change my Hotel !! I don’t need a double king size bed anymore and I don’t want end up alone in a hotel room , therefore I made a reservation in MIJE Hosle. I read the reviews and it sounds all right but I wanted to ask and know more if somebody stayed there and can share his/her experience . I am particularly worry because I am in my 30s and never been in any hostels and in all my trips before I stayed in 4* and 5* .

1- I want to meet people . 2- I am flexible.

PS : I will be in paris 24th of April to 1st of May

That%26#39;s a radical change from 4-5* hotels, but MIJE are pretty renovations in lovely surroundings, and being 30 smth shouldn%26#39;t be a problem. Now for a broken heart, nothing will be fitting anyway, so why not MIJE?

Here are reviews for the 3 MIJE hostels in Paris www.tripadvisor.com/Search…

DON%26#39;T PLAN to meet people...my experience and the experience of others shows that when we WANT to met people it just doesn%26#39;t work. Perhaps we have an aura of desperate need that others can feel a mile away and scare them? Just make up your mind that you will have a good time on your own..(I am French, by the way, and don%26#39;t find Paris any more romantic than London or Tokyo at rush hour.. Venice in the evening...now you are talking). One day, after the latest of too many breakup, I decided I would be celibate for the rest of my life. The following months I felt so free, without the pressure of having to find someone, to look attractive and a god catch etc. Celibate but not an hermit so I talked to all sorts of people in a very platonic sort of way. Then one of these no-pressure encounters turned out to be the beginning of a 25 years long romance..
