Les Bouquinistes is on the left bank with a view back to Notre Dame from the street outside. You would need to cross the bridge. There are also many small bars and restaurants on the left bank which is a popular student destination as well.

Or you could walk onto Isle St Louis and eat at any number of places from Mon Vieil Ami which is a serious and popular restaurant

to the Sergeant Recruteur www.lesergentrecruteur.com which is a bit of a fun restaurant with baskets of veggies and dips, terrines in their dish to help yourself etc.

On the left bank within a five minute walk of Notre Dame are La Bouteille d%26#39;Or right on the quai, L%26#39;Atelier de Maitre Albert on a side street nearby, and Les Degres de Notre Dame on Rue des Grandes Degres. Maitre Albert has lots of fans, but I haven%26#39;t eaten there (I am a contrarian). La Bouteille d%26#39;Or is Corsican which trust me, is very good, and Les Degres de Notre Dame is more of a neighborhood style restaurant with the best couscous and tajines I have ever had anywhere, also decent French standards. Both are very friendly although their English can be a little challenged depending on who your server is. There is another place right across the street from Les Degrees which is supposed to be very good but it seems to be open at odd times so I have never been there.
