We are travelling to Lyon from London by train on Friday morning. We are leaving at 18:00 on Sunday evening. We get into Lyon at about 12 midday and plan to spend the rest of the day and the evening in Lyon. On Saturday we are not sure what to do. We would like to visit Annecy but do not want to miss out on a Saturday afternoon in Lyon.
Going to Abbecy on Sunday does not really workout as the earliest we can get there is 09.30 and we have to leave at 14.30 in order to catch our train in Lyon.
What do others suggest? Is Annecy worth giving up our day in Lyon and spend Sunday morning and afternoon in Lyon instead?
Also, all the information on here is amazing. Thank you to everyone who has ever contributed a it has helped us plan our hotels and itinerary

I agree with you, I think it is not worth going to Annecy and have to return as soon as 14:30 in the afternoon. Annecy is really worth going though, but not during this trip : you%26#39;ll have to come back and allocate more time!

Thanks for responding. We might make the trip to Annecy on Saturday as we will probably come back to Lyon another time and spend more time in the city.
