Turn up without booking in late June?

does anyone know how feasible it would be to travel round the Pyrenees in late June without pre-booking accomodation. We plan to stay in a combination of hotels, B%26amp;B%26#39;s %26amp; campsites.

Thanks

Hi --

It%26#39;s very hard to tell but I think I%26#39;d book the first two days. It will give you a chance to calculate your chances for the rest of your trip with some hard information to work with.

South West France is suffering from very low bookings for Chambre D%26#39;hotes (B%26amp;B). Some are down by as much as 50%.

I wouldn%26#39;t bother pre-booking especially in June when it is definitely muchn quieter than August.

Hi

Late June isn%26#39;t high season and therefore accommodation is available.

We have a chambre d%26#39;hotes and July/August is our busy time. Most other months we have rooms available.

When you arrive at your destination, visit the local Office de Tourisme or Syndicat de Tourisme who are really helpful and usually manage to find you nice accommodation.

Hope you have a really enjoyable trip.
