Which TGV station easier - Aix or Avignon?

we will be driving from near Apt on a Saturday morning in July to take TGV to Paris. We have been told it%26#39;s one hour to Avignon TGV and one and a quarter hour%26#39;s drive to Aix TGV. We will be returning a rental car to whichever train station.

The trains we are considering take about the same amount of time to Paris, but the Aix departure time might work slightly better for us.

QUESTIONS: Either station easier to drop off car?

Recommendations of easier/more reliable driving time to either station?

thanks. Need to get my train tix when they go on sale 90 days in advance end of this week, so appreciate input.

I think Avignon TGV is easier than Aix.

You walk up a ramp from the car rental offices to the platforms.

I think maybe you will find that there are more trains from Avignon to Paris and if you are going to CDG then there are some direct trains without having to change at the Gare de Lyon. The Road from Apt to Av TGV is direct, and on Sat morning there should not be much traffic (depending on the time) If you buy direct on SNCF France exactly 90 days in advance you can buy a PREMS ticket for about 25 euros one way.
