Where should we stay in Paris?

We are visiting Paris for one week in September. We would like to stay in an apartment and have narrowed it down to two. We would like feedback about which area is nicer to stay in based on atmosphere, convenience, eateries, quietness and safety. The first apartment in 2e is in Rue Greneta (between Rue Montorgueil and Rue Dussoubs). The second apartment is in 4e near the border of 1er. It is in Rue De La Reynie just off Blvd De Sebastopol (Hotel De Ville side). We are not sure if there is a restaurant at the bottom of the apartment building.

Tough choice..both are in interesting areas, with lots of restaurants etc. Rue Greneta is a quieter street and rue Montorgeuil see less tourists and more locals than the streets, like La Reynie, linking Les Halles to Pompidou. Montorgeuil also has groceries etc.

Rue Greneta is fun - it is a quiet little street (but the end near Rue Montorgueil is the best area). Then you can go and do your food and wine shopping in the absoltely wodnerful Rue Montorgueil - also lots of little bistros to eat at.
