We are taking our daughterto Paris for her 21st birthday. We want to do the bus tours and have a day at Disney. Not having been before we are at a loss to know where would be a good location to stay and at which hotel. I suppose being in walking distance of one of the tour bus stops would be a good idea?
Any suggestions welcome.
We go in a couple of weeks-Friday to Monday
Thanks

Some additional information from you will be required to get a good answer. Budget in euros, triple room (sounds like at least 3?), where you are arriving from (airport or train), other activities you want to do.
Have a look at the bus stops and see what else is around that you are interested in. Be aware that May is full of national holidays and some things will be closed.

Hi!
The RER B goes out to Disney so staying in Le Marais is a good choice. In terms of lodging, I%26#39;d look at www.vrbo.com for a two bedroom apartment in that neighborhood.
Best regards
Bill

A guide book would allow everyone to select the sights that most interest them - and provide information on getting to Disney and back, as well as the Hop on Hop off bus - I presume that%26#39;s what you mean by %26quot;the tour bus stops%26quot;.
A guide book will also let you in on the intricacies of eating well in Paris without spending a fortune - You seem to me to be unprepared for this trip, and I%26#39;m afraid that you will find that to translate to unnecessary expenses, which is always a shame.

yep 1B Traveler, you are spot on. We are normally much more prepared but this was a last minute decision. Thank you for taking the taime to reply and for your comments.

Flashby, yes there are 3 of us so a triple room is required and hoping to pay 45-55 euros. I have looked at a guide book re areas but as it is a bit old I%26#39;m off to the library. Nothing beats first hand knowledge though your thoughts are most welcome.

RER A goes to Disneyland Paris, not B as elzevir posted.
I am not a hotel expert, my guests stay with me. I am guessing that your budget will put you way on the outskirts of Paris. You will get what you pay for, and added time and cost for travel into the city.
Definitely do more searches on tripadvisor for triple rooms, Disneyland area, and hopon-hopoff bus.

MIJE hostels, all 3 of them in the Marais (search for their review on TA), walkable to RER A in Chatelet to go Disney.

I am not trying to be mean, but that is a very low budget for a triple... I cannot even find many decent SINGLES in London under 60-70 GBPs... so I think you may have to rethink your budget if you want central. You will not find a triple in central Paris for that price( but, hey, if you do ,, please let us know, that would be a great deal!) .

Reading back at my post I see my brain was already in Paris. The rate I mentioned was for each person but I had not made that clear. Many thanks to everyone. Based on budget and Tripadvisor reviews we have booked at the Elysa Luxembourg and go on Friday yipee and have all transport needs sorted out
Next question (oh no I hear you groan), does anyone have any experience, good or bad ,of restaurants/cafes in the Luxembourg area?
Manty thanks
