Beautiful Argenteuil?

I love the Impressionists%26#39; paintings set in Argenteuil. I went in search of that Argenteuil, but found instead a highly industrialized area. Someone even gently chided me before I went, asking, %26quot;Why would you want to go there?%26quot;

Is there still a beautiful part of Argenteuil? And if so, can you please give directions from the rail station? I%26#39;ll give it another go, if so. Thank you.
