We will be staying at the Hotel Westminister/Opera in July. I read about several good value and good food? restaurants in Paris. The L%26#39;Entrecote, (several locations?), Le Bosquet, for the french onion soup and Au petit sud Ouest. Are any of these places within walking distance to our hotel and open on Sunday? Do you have other suggestions? I read that the Rue Cler shop area is open on Sunday and not many other places are open.
Thanks,
janines

I have never eaten at any of these places, but have read plenty of reviews, and have to say they have always seemed pretty expensive to me.
Buy yourself The Rough Guide to French Hotels and Restaurants - it%26#39;s a translaton into English of Routard, which is written by French travellers looking for good value, good quality meals.
You may be amused by this review of le Bosquet http://tinyurl.com/c99r2u I particularly enjoyed %26quot;Though not my favorite area of the city.... I had one local laugh and call it Rue Rick Steves, and he was right on the money. I counted 9 of his blue guides just walking to the restaurant.%26quot;
I never spend more than 30€ in Paris for 3 courses.

Janines, these 3 restaurants aren%26#39;t close to your hotel, but aren%26#39;t too far if you hop on the metro. I%26#39;d suggest you play around with Google Maps to get an idea of what%26#39;s in your area. Many stores and restaurants are closed on Sunday, but you will find lots open in the Marais (start off at the St. Paul metro station and wander from there). I checked my restaurant list, and don%26#39;t find any good value spots in your neighborhood, but I%26#39;m sure others will have suggestions for you.
