carte 12-25

I was looking at the sncf website to find out more about the carte 12-25 and i%26#39;ve noticed that there are two kinds, carte de reduction and carte de fidelite, now from what i%26#39;ve read the carte de fidelite doesn%26#39;t give you any discounts, just s%26#39;miles, did i undrstand it right? if yes, which one is better for someone who travels more than 4 times each month?
