Chalet Chamois Tignes

Visited Chalet Chamois in winter 2008/09.

Wonderful view from lovely airy lounge with plenty of comfortable seating. The sauna was a great addition and boot store on ground floor with heaters was wonderful.

Bedrooms and ensuite are so small you cannot move around unless really friendly and have to leave case plus kit on floor as not enough room.

Experienced staff catering was not seen. Kids from school tried hard but missed the mark. Not what the web site lead us to believe we would get. Food portions inadequate for 10 skiers and not all local produce unless you count frozen croissents from garage below local.

Bar was BYO from town and do not look fro alternative tea or soft drinks.

Diamond rating overstates what this chalet is. For the same money you get much more with others such as Crystal.

Do not expect too much here as many things miss the mark. Another chalet run by accountants. Independent equivalents are far better.
