I am going to Corsica for a couple of days over Easter. I am interested in the traditional Easter celebrations and polyphonic songs. I read there is a procession in Calvi on Good Friday night. Any suggestions of other events worth seeing?
Is it difficult to find a place to sleep at Easter, should I book something before going?
Also, how much time does it take to drive from Bonifacio to Calvi (in tourist’s speed :)).

The most noted Good Friday procession is in Sartene in the south, which would also be much more convenient for you if you are coming from Sardinia. However, it is quite a tourist event and you will have difficulty finding anywhere to stay at this late stage. When we went we stayed in Propriano which has lots of accommodation and is not far away.
It takes maybe 4+ hours to drive from Bonifacio to Calvi? (others may correct me) So Sartene (half an hour from Bonifacio) would be a much better bet.
Neither the Calvi nor Sartene processions have particularly noteworthy music - a repetitive, more or less monodic, chant of Perdone mio dio - dramatically but not musically interesting - is what I remember in both cases.
