From Bayeux to Lyon...drive or train?

HI,

We are heading to Bayeux in July and then planning on joining friends in Lyon. It looks like a 8 hour drive...is it faster to drive or train (looks like we would have to connect through Paris)???

Train would probably be quicker. The only ptential hassle would be changing stations in Paris. You can check times on www.voyages-sncf.com
