Can anyone give me some information on visiting the stables at Versailles? We will be in Paris in early June 2009 and I am planning on allowing a day for Versailles.
I see that there is a morning practice and an evening show. Is one better than the other? I will have my daughter with me who is an avid rider.
Can you visit the stables (with horses there) when there is not a show?
Do you need to buy tickets in advance or can you buy them on the day of the visit? It does not appear that they are included in the 1 day pass to Versailles or with the Paris Museum pass.
Thanks for any advice or information.

I am also trying to find information about whether the stable visit is worthwhile. You can find basic information about tickets, performances, etc. at the Versailles website or Rick Steves, but I am unable to fine any sort of review. Have you found one?

No, I have yet to find much information on this. There is a lot of discussion about the fountains, but not much about the stables. I will have to check the Versailles website, as when I started planning this, I don%26#39;t think you could buy tickets online, but now apparently you can. I don%26#39;t know about the stables, though.

Their website is acadequestr.fr. There%26#39;s a tab for English but the ticket purchase mechanism is in French.
