Does anyone Know the name of a new hotel that is currently being renovated on Boulevard Victor Hugo?
I had a fantastic trip to Nice recently %26amp; cannot wait to go back!
The building is very large %26amp; very white %26amp; there were many builers working on it every day during my stay. Its quite near Avenue Jean Medecin.
I think it was due to open in August 08, but was still not ready in September..

we were in Nice last week and they were still working on the hotel - was due to open in august but I guess they%26#39;re a little behind!
It%26#39;s a Boscolo hotel - think it used to be called the Atlantic - the new name was on a sign but I%26#39;m sorry I can%26#39;t remember what it is (think it started with Ex).

I saw the signs too-is was something like Exarda...

A lot of building still going on - massive internal atrium being kitted out - I%26#39;m no expert but I%26#39;d say delivery in 2009. Like the Palais de Mediterranee, its a %26quot;mixed economy%26quot; development - part apartments for sale, part hotel. No doubt it will go the same way as the development behind Virgin - investors buy off-plan, then try to sell or rent on delivery. Incredible location, probably incredible price.This one is going to try to rival the Negresco and Palais.
Forget the credit crunch, Nice is ever more desirable.

Saw this building on my 5th visit to Nice last year. I%26#39;m pretty sure it%26#39;s called the Exedra.
Looked impressive, it%26#39;s going to be expensive!

Just been searching on trip advisor for reviews of this hotel and found your forum post. Just thought you might be interested that I saw this hotel on the travel zoo top 20 e-mail and you can get rooms for £150 a night until end of march....I think if you enter TRZOO on the customer codes section while booking it should work out. Looks lovely on the website....

Stayed at this hotel in March 2009 on a travelzoo deal - it%26#39;s called the Boscolo Exedra Nice and it is absolutely superb. Good location, gorgeous decor and rooms, attentive staff and the spa was out of this world! Would recommend it highly!
