Normandy road trip? which towns to stay?

Hi, myself and a friend arrive in calais late morning and were wondering where would be a good place to stay for the first night. Honfleur? Deaville? Rouen? any suggestions? Don%26#39;t want to drive much further than Honfleur on our first day.

Then what would you say were the best towns to explore afterwards? We are two guys in our early thirties, so somewhere interesting, with a little bit of life.

Also can anyone recommend Anywhere that%26#39;s good to camp in Normandy?

Thanks a lot

Jim

Honfleur%26#39;s a good place to start.

It%26#39;s known for it%26#39;s XVIc houses more than the night life. Ther%26#39;s a jazz bar called the Vintage café. To find it walk out of town towards the Normandy bridge. It%26#39;s just on the outskirts of the town.

Deauville has it%26#39;s casino.

Rouen and Caen have night clubs

Bayeux is a good base to visit the d-day beach zone you can follow a d-day audio guide or take a minibus tour.

For camp sites do a google search %26quot; camping and the name of a town%26quot;.
