cheapest way to get in marseille from nice

Hi,

Could anybody tell me how I can in marseille as cheap as possible? When i%26#39;m looking for train rates online I can only find the tgv rages.. Isn%26#39;t it possible to go by regular train? and does anybody know the rates for this train, and how to book?

Use voyages-sncf.com/ remaining in French language and choosing Marseilles St Charles and Nice Ville from the prompt boxes that appear when you put in the town names. Use a date within two months.

The TER (local train) fare is €28.50

There is no point in booking a TER in advance as there are no reservable seats.
