Paris Hotels.

I am serching for hotel accomodations for me and my husband. This will be our first trip to Paris. We are an active senior citizen couple. I am looking to stay in the Luxenburg Garden area.5-6 or 7th arrondisment. The following hotels look like it would be good for us. Hotel des Academies et des Arts, Hotel Valadon, L%26#39;Abbaye Saint-Germain,Magda Royal Etoile Hotel, Hotel du Collage de France, La Villa Madame. I would be very greatfull if anybody would have any sugestions. If you are familiar with any of these hotels or could sugest something. Also we are looking to travel at the begining of October but I just found out that the auto show is around that time and is not good to go to Paris then.Any comentson this matter I would appriciate. Thanks a lot.

I don%26#39;t know if you are familiar with it but you can search for reviews of these hotels directly (use search bar) - you will get a lot more opinions than waiting for replies to a post here.

I would not worry too much about the auto show, there are always reasons why the city is a bit more or less busy, but it%26#39;s big enough to cope with a large event. If it%26#39;s when you want to go/can get away %26amp; the price for the flight and hotel are good for you then go for it.

I am posting this from the Millesime Hotel. This is our third stay here because of the location between the Blvd St. Germain and the river at, approximately, the Pont des Art. This puts us cloes to Notre Dame, the Marais, the Latin Quarter, the Musee D%26#39;Orsay, etc. And because of their tete-a-tete package. Take a look on their web page:

Thank you, I will check this hotel.

For some of the hotels on your list there are several hundreds of reviews here on the forum - listed right up to this week.

I am in your age group, leaving may 2nd for my trip. I chose the hotel luxenbourg parc.. its rated very highly on this site, and then i am staying a few dys at relais vieux paris...other than that, my rececommendaiton is to stay closer to the 6th than the 5th. as i recall, the fifth is more %26quot;student%26quot; oriented. Being 55 myself, I would feel more comforatable if I wasnt surrounded by 20 year olds, so my choice of those you mentioned would probably be L%26#39;abbaye... You know if you google the address of the hotel in google maps, you can move the %26quot;little man%26#39; up in the left hand corner and actually walk down the street of the hotel... see whats it%26#39;s like. if you arent sure how to do that, send me a private message, and I%26#39;ll help you. Thats how I had determined which hotel I wanted to stay at... I wanted to acutually see what that exact area was like...

Hi,

Hotel Le Littré in the 6th is very nice. You can have a room with a balcony and a view on the Eiffel Tour. I went at this hotel last year and it was a very nice trip.

Hotel Jardin le Bréa seem very nice too and it%26#39;s near the Luxembourg Gardens.
