Paris to Rome

Am looking for a reasonably priced flight from main Paris airport to Rome in September. Are there any other budget airlines flying this route. Thanks

Hi lachite,

Have a look at http://www.euroflights.info/france/paris/ - that gives you airlines and routes.

Another one is http://www.eurocheapo.com/flights/ - never used it but claims to find the best low cost airline for your trip

PS - forgot to say have a look at non budget ones such as AirFrance as well - they can sometimes be as cheap, sometimes even less than supposed low budget

Thanks Alison for your help.

I flew from Paris to Rome on Air Vueling last year, about 80 euros. I liked that they use the main airports( easy to use public transport to get to and from) , and that they use new planes, not older ones they bought from biggger airlines and redo.

Air France wanted something outrageous for a one way flight, like 500 euros,, I just about fell out of my seat.. but maybe you will see a special .

Thanks Joan, Have gone through all others and that one is by far the best price.

i flew paris-rome in january with Easyjet. www.easyjet.com

I just booked an easyjet flight from Paris to Rome...but i think to go to Rome you have to fly out of Orly and not CDG. Haven%26#39;t flown it yet, but I only paid about 75 U.S. dollars for it...which is amazing!

^^yep the route is from paris orly not CDG, but if you are looking to fly on a budget, it%26#39;s a hard price to beat! orly is a good size airport so unless you have to go out of CDG then it%26#39;s a great airport to fly to rome from

so much of the pricing depends on when you are flying. I had to book 6 tickets from Malaga to Cde G recently - in July. Falling off the chair prices. Now if I had wanted to go in March, things would have been much easier. Literally we could have all gone for the price of one return in July.

For the OP, September might be better.

I did a search on Expedia and found the available flights. I checked on the websites of each airline and did not find them cheaper - just more complicated to book, so I went back to Expedia. I always like to compare. What is cheapest on one trip is not always the best option a few months later.

Bargains require a long search.

Have booked on Vueling as it was certainly the best price but on reflection could have changed earlier plans and gone to Orly. Departure times were the same and it would have been alot less than half price. Being at the end of the holiday period in europe I did not want to miss out on a flight for that time and day. Thanks to all for your contributions.
