Can anyone tell me please approximately what time do the shops open/close on Rue Cler on Sunday mornings? Thanks in advance, MrsB.

The shops open by 9 am and close at noon or 1 pm on Sunday. There is a Franprix in rue Cler that is also open on Sunday morning, so you can also find the basics, if needed.

Thank you for letting me know, do you also know what time they close the rest of the week, thanking you...MrsB.

Also does the Grennelle Market close at 2.30 on Sunday? Trying to arrange to go to Mass at Notre Dame at 10.00 a.m. and then shoot back to Rue Cler and the market to pick up essentials. Our apartment is near the Eiffel Tower. Not sure if we should do it the other way around and go to a later Mass. Thanks MrsB.

The marché Grenelle opens early, about 7:00 am, so you could go before mass if you%26#39;re an early riser. Otherwise, yes, the vendors are packing up in the afternoon.

The rest of the week they are open until 7 or 7:30 pm, but I know on Saturday many close for a lunch break, from 1 to 4 or so; I%26#39;m not sure if they do that during the week.

Plus, most are closed on Monday.

Grenelle market is just getting started around 9am on Sunday morning.
